History of Oregon Flowers Inc.

In 1979, Martin and Helene Meskers moved from the Netherlands to the Willamette Valley of Oregon. They both began working for Oregon Bulb Farm, the top lily breeding company of the time. After three years of work, Martin and Helene left Oregon Bulb Farm to pursue their own American Dream of creating a cut flower greenhouse operation in the United States. Today, Martin and Helene Meskers are proud American citizens, managing a family run cut flower business, and staying true to their motto of, “Flowers Grown with a Dutch Touch”
